Life Update!
Hello!
I hope you are doing well! I wanted to give you a life update. I am still living in Indy and working for the outpatient mental health facility. For those who do not know, I work in the HR department. I really enjoy my job, I think this is where God wants me for now. I’m the “Orientation Specialist”, which means I do all the starting paperwork, then present orientation to all the new hires. For those who know me, I am someone who loves to be in her bubble. This job forces me (in a good way) to get out of my bubble and to be able to speak in front of people. I believe that God is using my talents for this position. I also have made some really good relationships at work. I am so thankful that God gave me a work environment that I can feel safe and build these relationships.
I still have a second job but it has changed since the last time we talked! I am now working on the weekends as an “ER Registration Clerk”. This has been a very interesting job! I am still pretty new to it all, but I have enjoyed every bit of it! I have noticed from working in HR, I still use customer service but it is very different from employee customer service and patient customer service. I have been missing the patient interaction and this gives me the best of both worlds! I have completed my first weekend without having someone train me and I think I am going to really enjoy this job! During my training period, I was working Monday through Friday from 8-5 at my full time job and then going straight to my second job from 6-9. Let’s just say that I am so excited to be on weekends. I was so exhausted. Which is why I haven’t really paid a lot of attention to my blog. Your girl has been living out of her car and living at two jobs. Now it should change!
My Ella Jane (my lovely cat child), has been the biggest supporter and entertainer of my life right now. She’s still growing and finding her personality more each day. Ella is super glad for me to be home and not have super crazy hours. She definitely keeps me on my toes. My lovely sister has created a chase game with Ella, and now Ella expects to play it all the time with me, it has now been our nightly routine. She did give me a scare one day at lunch: I came home and she normally greets me. She did not that day. I searched and called her name for 15 minutes. Let’s just say I was starting to panic slightly. I went and checked one more spot again when she comes around the corner and does her parkour move, then runs away (which is how the chase game is played). I looked back on my indoor cameras and she was following me around the house without my knowledge and waiting to scare me! I love her and so glad that the timing was right when I got her as a kitten. She has made my life a little more exciting.
I have started a diet. For those who know me, I love bread and pasta. I have to have them in every meal I eat. I have decided through a fast that I am going on the Keto diet. It has already been 2 weeks and it has been a very interesting journey. I could not have made it this far without Jesus, friends, and family. This has been the hard but when I lean on my supporters, it becomes so much easier. Don’t get me wrong, I really want to eat my bread but I have already made it this far. Plus, my body feels so much better! Some of you know that I have been struggling with my health. My lab reports and tests have come back normal but there is still something wrong. I do not feel well. This diet hasn’t changed the way I feel 100% but I will say it has changed about 75% of how I feel. The next tackle is to learn how to fit exercise into my daily routine. Something that I am learning is God created my body specifically for me and I would like to take care of it to the best of my ability.
I still crochet, but I have started a new hobby that I am starting to enjoy so much. I have found that I love to create planners, note cards, sticky notes, etc. I have this dream that I am developing and it is to start selling my products! I have found a wonderful printing company that will print out my designs and I have two of my creations in a physical form and it is so cool! My goal is to start working on getting my business started and to be able to post my products on my website for you all to enjoy! I will update you all on the process!
Life is great! God is providing and doing wonderful things in my life. I am so thankful that God gave me this life to use my talents and interests to share the love I have for Him. I hope you all are doing well! I would love to hear from you!
